Perth Trip - 31st July 2007 (Day 5 - Last Day)

31st July 2007
Today marks the end of my 5 days short tour in Perth. Most of the time, the weather condition is quite gloomy, the sky is always in an overcast condition. Hence I didn't take much IR or good photos. However, on my last day, the condition changed for the better which is a consolation.

Aeris and Ian prepared breakfast for the morning and we head out to take some photos after finishing our breakfast. At around 9am, we decided to check-out the room since the check-out timing is 10am.

I walk to the open space which is opposite City Waters to take some photos while we waited for Theo and Serene to check-out too.

After checking-out of the apartment, our first stop is King's Park where we can take scenic pictures of the Perth skyline. King's Park is around 4.06 square kilometres (1,003 acre) which is quite a large area to cover, since we only got a couple of hours before check-in for our departure flight, we didn't managed to cover much of the area... Maybe next time then. Anyway, my 2GB CF card is not enough to take the pictures in King's Park (I am shooting in RAW Format you know).

After going to King's Park, the five of us went to Northbridge so that Theo and Serene could purchase some apple strudels from Corica Pastries located on Aberdeen Street, it was said that this place is famous for their apple strudel. Since Ian and Aeris flight are at a later timing, we parted ways outside Corica Pastries. I won't know when will be the next time that I will get to see Ian and Aeris again. Oh well...

After getting the apple strudel, Theo drove to his home to drop off some stuffs before sending me and Serene to the International Airport. After checking-in, we went to Red Rooster for lunch.

At around 2:30pm, Serene and I got in through the departure gate, that pretty much ended my Perth Trip. There is a slight delay in taking off as out of sudden, the weather changed to a rainy weather again.

After a 5 hours flight, I am back in Singapore again, back to reality, back to all the rushing and squeezing, back to the hetic lifestyle of a Singaporean male...

Alrighty, I surely hope to go over to Australia again for a short trip to relax. Maybe can try to pay Ian and Aeris a visit at Geelong.

Anyway, I must really thank Aeris and Ian for putting up with me for the last few days during the trip and of course for the breakfast which they prepared and of course to Theo too for driving us around.

I guess enough of that, time for some photos. Enjoy...
