Wow... I finally change the music on my blog after such a long time. Well, it is not new song but just posting back an old song that I upload almost like more than 10 months ago. Anyway, it is by Kavin Hoo and featuring Corrinne May.
The last song that was on my blog is called The Winding Path, the current one is named Pilgrim's Journey. Both songs are linked somehow. Below are the words by the composer Mr Kavin Hoo about the 2 songs.
"Pilgrim's Journey" - One of my favourite pieces of music. Corrinne, who sings the main vocals, actualy came up with the melody pretty much on the 1st take. In my mind, if I had to score music for a film whereby the protagonist has to cross tall snow peaked mountains amidst a heavy, blinding snow storm on a quest (a-la Lord of the Rings), this would be it. The music ends when the protagonist, out of sheer exhaustion, collapses onto the snow and loses consciousness.
"The Winding Path" - picks up where "Pilgrim's Journey" left off, & chronicles the rescue of the afore-mentioned adventurer and his feeling of joy & relief as he realises his arduous journey is finally coming to an end and he is returning home at last.

Music Back on Blog So High
Finally got my music back and working. Got a big problem previously as my Filefreak account was terminated as I never login for more than 45 days, so my account expires. Tried signing up but never receive my activation email.
Anyway, finally got it settled. So, enjoy the music. Since Christmas is around the corner, just like to share some Christmas songs with all. Enjoy.

New Song - Only Reminds Me of You by MYMP
As some might have notice, I have change the song on my blog. It is a song titled "Only Reminds Me of You" by M.Y.M.P. (Make Your Momma Proud), a Filipino acoustic band comprised of Juris Fernandez (lead vocals) and Chin Alcantara (guitar and occasional vocals).
I happened to come across this song as I was blog surfing. The blog belongs to Jolynn who had happened to stumble across my blog and posted an article that I wrote before on her blog. :)
It is great to see that my article got shared on others blogs because I always believe in sharing interesting and inspiring stories and articles with all so as to encourage and motivate people from all walks of life.
Not only that, it also motivate me to give it more thoughts to write more meaningful and inspiring articles to share with all. Hope to be able to share more good articles with all in the coming days. Cheerz and Regards to all.

Finally, I present to you... My New Blog Layout
Ok, it is just a slight change but hey, it is a change.
First and foremost, I like to thank HuiRong for giving me valuable advices and inspiration. Her blog layout is really good.
Next, to my readers of my blog, the usual Aeris, Ian, Theo, HuiRong, Karen, Andrew, Chan and all those that I miss that, thanks for reading.
Last but not least, those passer-by who happened to wander onto my blog, thanks for dropping by.

Let Me Be Your Shelter
This is inspired by Corrinne May's latest song Shelter in which she wrote for her friend.

This is inspired by an anime Trinity Blood. In the episode "Star of Sorrow I : City of Blood", one of the lead character Sister Esther Blanchett was about to be led away by the authority because of the crime she committed (in seek of revenge) when the main character Father Abel Nightroad request to be taken into custody too. This move stunned Sister Esther in which she asked "I don't understand... Why Father?" and Father Abel replied "You have to ask...? Really...? Well, It's...It's because I am your friend..."
You need to watch the whole anime to fully understand this part.
As to why I add this to my description of my blog, well, some time I go all the way out for a friend, some people might question the motive behind but this is my answer to them. It is just that simple, because I am their friend.

I might change this Blog Title Picture whenever I got more beautiful one. HuiRong actually suggested that I use some of my photos as the Blog Title Picture as she said that they are quite nice (Thanks a lot ger). This sunset is taken at Changi Boardwalk.

Not sure if you can read the Chinese characters well but these few verses are from Sun Tzu's Art of War which is translated as follows :-
"Let your rapidity be that of the wind,
your compactness that of the forest.
In raiding and plundering be like fire,
is immovability like a mountain.

Changing Layout In Progress - Please Be Patient
Ok, I should be telling that to myself. Here I am, looking at strings of html codes which I know nuts about while trying to revamp my blog.
It is only a small step. Oh well, at least I got the chatbox up, that is more important. I just need to solve the alignment issue which has been troubling me for the last 2 hours.

A Slight Change to my Blog
Well, not sure if you all notice, but I had decided to change my blog title.
My Old Blog Title was - Francis's Weblog : As Uninteresting As Ever
Now my Blog Title is - Let Me Be Your Shelter (inspired by Corrinne May's latest song called Shelter)
I got quite a few reasons why I decided to change it to this title, but I guess those who know me well enough will certainly know the reason. Maybe I will tell you more next time.
Beside that, I change the Description too.
My Old Blog Description was - Weblog by Francis. Engineer by Profession, Photographer by Passion
My New Blog Description is - "You have to ask...? Really...? Well, It's...It's because I am your friend..." which is some sort of in tune with my blog title.

Revamping my Blog : Labels Insertion
Was creating some entries for my blog earlier and I had decided to add labels to my blog for easy search and sorting as I remembered Charlotte telling me yesterday that she had just started watching the Death Note Anime series on my blog.
I had created some labels search links at the side navigation which is just below "Previous Post" section. That can help to streamline the search as you need not to scroll through each month entry to look for what you want to find.
I am still in the midst of inserting the labels, hope to get it done soon. Maybe I should really look into revamping my whole blog to make it better as part of my New Year Resolution. Cheerz.

My First Weblog posting
Alright, I must admit that I never thought of starting a weblog at all. But now, I am starting one to share some of my photos that I took during my free time and also to share my thoughts at times.
I guess I will not update this Blog so often due to the nature of my work and also I wouldn't expect this to be a very interesting blog but this is more like sharing of Photography Techniques and knowledge or to rant about something at times.
Before I start, I must admit that I know nuts about blogging, so I guess it will be just a plain site for me until I learn more about this.
