Perth Trip - 28th July 2007 (Day 2)

28th July 2007
Ian, Aeris and I woke up very early this morning so that we can do some morning walk and take some photos along the way. The weather was much better than yesterday in term that the rain had stopped, but the problem is that the sky is always gloomy and the sun is always behind a curtain of clouds.

I prefer to let the pictures to do the talking.

At around late morning, the weather had turn for the worse again, it started to rain and I decided to let my camera indoor before we head out for our morning activities which is to visit Margaret River Chocolate Factory before heading for our afternoon activities, watching AFL (Australian Football League) at Subiaco Stadium. On the way to the stadium, the weather just turn for the better and I managed to catch a glimpse of a rainbow. Whenever I catch the rainbow, good luck will follow, it has always been the case. Indeed, the weather is very nice today for the match, if not, we will got to watch the match in the rain while dress in raincoat and armed with umbrella.

Anyway, the match today is Geelong vs Fremantle. Ian and Aeris are supporters for the Geelong Cats. It is a very interesting match and totally a new experience for me to learn about the rules for the AFL. The final score was something like 140 against 72 with Geelong beating Fremantle hands down. For more info, please refer to Ian and Aeris's blog, I believe they will describe the match much better than me.

The game started at around 2:00pm and ended like 5:00pm (Perth timing, well Perth timing is same as Singapore timing). After the game, we walked to West Leederville for dinner before heading back to our apartment.

Same thing as the previous night, Ian, Aeris and I chatted for quite a while before knocking out. Like Ian had mentioned previously, we have a lot of catching up to do.

Looking forward to Day 3 in Perth.
