IR Outing #6 @ Japanese Garden (12th August 2007)

Today is the 6th IR Outing and it was like close to 1 and a half month from the previous one which is a very long break. I am really sorry for not organising the outing on a regular basis as I was rather busy for the last month with the presentation to A*Star and also the Perth trip. Most of all, I am really running out of places to shoot. This location was suggested by Teerex and so I give it a run. The turn up today is great with a stunning record of 21 people. Top record so far I can remember.

The sun was play a bit of hide and seek today as the weather is slightly cloudy. The worst thing is that I didn't bring my IR-modified camera out for this outing. I was using my old trusty D70s which means that it must be tripod mount and going through the process of composing the shot before screwing on the opaque looking Infra-Red filter.

13. littlepea - Michelle (Michelle is a Canon user. She brought along her prosumer camera and also her 400D dSLR. Panda was tasked to coach her as he is the only Canon user only. Since she is using a 77mm diameter lens, she got to borrow Panda's IR filter as a 77mm IR filter is quite an expensive investment.)

After the outing, the IR Regulars stayed back to take some mug shots for their biography which will be used for the upcoming IR Exhibition (More details of this as the day draw closer). This is one taken of me by Andrew which I quite like it.

Before I forgot, Sherwin called me up this afternoon just when I ended my outing. He told me that he saw Corrinne May at his church and he was like sitting less than 10m away. OMG, Argh... Man... He really know how to make me feel jealous, ok, suppress the Green-Eyed Monster in me. And he told me that she sounded better in person than in CD, that is of course. Argh... I missed another chance to see Corrinne May again. Oh well, maybe next time. Sigh...
