Happened to see a tagboard message from Zoe regarding my last post about Love and Relationship, it is a quote from her which I like to share with all.
Quote : Don't marry a person you can live with. Marry a person you can't live without.
I give this quote some thought and this is how I view it.
When you truly love someone, that loving feeling will grow over time, that special someone will become your soulmate whom you will depend on, whom you can't live without and whom you will spend the rest of your life with, through good and bad, through thick and thin, through riches and poverty and through sickness and health.
Now back to the front part of the quote, when you grew accustom with someone or simply to put it, you had learn to live with that certain someone, it can be in a situation whereby there is no love or chemistry in-between, but that one party had learn to put up with the other's party way of things. It is more like a case routine kind of love and stuck together because of the long time both parties had put in. There is no growth and nurturing of the love in-between but more of a companionship kind of relation.
The next quote (verse) is from Charlotte's Blog which I find it very meaningful. Even though I am not a Catholic or Christian, I find that the whole verse is really beautiful.
BY HIM
By His goodness, I met you,
By His blessings, I will bless you,
By His joy, I will sing with you,
By His strength, I will labour with you
By His peace, I will encourage you,
By His patience, I will wait on you,
By His kindness, I will serve with you,
By His wisdom, I will honor you,
By His hope, I will endure all with you,
By His faithfulness, I will be with you,
By His love, I will love you,
By His grace, I marry you.
