I realised that I called myself a Night Photographer but I never have a decent shot of the moon. :P
Seeing the moon so bright and beautiful tonight. I decided to take my gears and went to the top of the sheltered carpark opposite my house and take a shot of the moon.
It has been a while since I last heard any good folk songs. My favourite folk song singers are Corrinne May (my absolute favourite) and Deb Fung. However there has not been any new album release from both of them especially since Corrinne May decided to take some time off to focus on building her family. The last news was that she had a baby daughter. Feel so happy for her and her husband Kavin.
Anyway, I was having a rather frustrating and bad day today. And as usual, I tried to calm my nerves down with some music. So I tuned to Class 95 when I heard this song "Midnight Train" by Alarice. I find that she is a good folk song singer with a sweet voice. After hearing her singing, it just touches my soul and makes me feel happy again.
I did an Internet search and stumble onto Alarice's website. I just listen to some of her songs and find the tune soothing and easy listening. So I decided to go to HMV to find her album but was in vain. Luckily I am meeting Chye Lai for a performance at the Esplanade, so I check out the store at the Esplanade. Lady Luck was smiling on me as I managed to get both her first and latest album. Feel so blesses today. :)
I will try to load her songs on my blog one of these days. So do stay tune. Cheerz.
Once there was a lot of starfishes which are left stranded on the beach.
The sun is burning hot and the tide is not coming fast enough and the starfishes are suffering from dehydration…
Then there was a little boy who keeps picking up the starfishes and throwing them back into the sea so that he can save them… But there was just too many on the beach…
Then a man, watches with amuse and walk fro and ask the boy, “What are you doing?”.
The boy answered, “I am trying to save the starfishes from been dried up, so I am picking them up and throwing them back into the sea so that they may live.”
The man laughed, “There are so many starfishes on the beach, you cannot possibly save all of them.”
But the boy look up and show the starfish that he is holding and say, “But it can at least make a difference to this one.”
In life, we cannot change every thing that has gone wrong to right, nor can we prevent wrong things from happening. However, if each of us play our part and make the difference, even how small the deed, it has make a difference to the one receiving it. Think about it.
This is the 2nd time the Clubsnap Admin and Mod Team meet up for a Lou Hei session at the Park Palace (Chinese restaurant) at Grand Park City Hall Hotel (next to Peninsula Plaza). It was the same restaurant that we went to 2 years back. It was nice for the Admin and Mod Team to meet up once a while. Too bad we do not have a meet up session so regularly... Anyway, here is the group photo.
It has been long since the last time I organise and IR outing. In fact, so little that I don't even recall if any had been conducted. Anyway, that is a thing of the past now. Hope that this first outing marks the reborn of our popular outing.
The main purpose for today's outing is to meet Dibyo as he comes over to Singapore for a visit. So we arrange to meet in Chinese Garden for the shoot. Teerex, Ark and Max came to meet Dibyo because it is not often that he comes over for a visit. What is more is that is this is the New Year period. So it is good to meet up with him.
Beside Dibyo, Teerex, Ark, Max and myself, there were also 4 others who joined us from Clubsnap. It just make me want to restart the IR Outing again...
The day started out really gloomy, but thankfully before we left, the sky clear a little and we begain shooting. Here are a few shots to share with all.
Ok, ok, crappy title to start of with, but I am really happy as I finally received the official transcript for my Master Studies results.
So it is finally confirm. I officially gotten my Master of Engineering (M.Eng) conferment on 4th Feb 2010. Why the slow backdate? Well, the letter was mailed to my parent's house and I did not collect the letter from them until these few days over the festive season.
So I can drop my title as a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) and become a Master of Engineering (M.Eng).
It has been long since I last posted any photos. No, No, No... Not that I have given up photography. I hope I never will, I guess I never will. :P It was the passion which kept me alive and I really like my this hobby. I got no intention of giving this nice hobby. But then why the sudden stop of photo posting...
My reason is that I have become lazier (NOT GOOD!!!) and also I have been posting more on Facebook because I can share more with more friends on Facebook. But then why post back on my blog then. Well... I always love to share my works with my friends. I believe if you upload on Facebook, the programme might have further compress the photos and rendering it to be of lower quality.
Anyway, just to share some of my works that I have taken since the start of the year 2010. Enjoy

Since it is Valentine's Day today, so I will just like to share a song with all. Wishing all the lovely couples a happy and blissful relationship and ever-lasting love. As for me... I don't know... I am still waiting for my lost rib to appear... Hopefully when the time is right, I will be like what the lyrics of this song says, Two is Better Than One
Two Is Better Than One Boys Like Girls (Ft. Taylor Swift) Songwriters: Johnson, Martin; Swift, Taylor
I remember what you wore on our first day You came into my life And i thought hey You know this could be something 'cause everything you do and words you say You know that it all takes my breath away And now i'm left with nothing
So maybe it's true, that i can't live without you And maybe two is better than one But there's so much time, to figure out the best in my life And you've already got me coming undone And i'm thinking two, is better than one
I remember every look upon your face, The way you roll your eyes, the way you taste You make it hard for breathing 'cause when i close my eyes and drift away I think of you and everything's okay And finally now, believing
And maybe it's true, that i can't live without you Well maybe two is better than one But there's so much time, to figure out the best in my life And you've already got me coming undone And i'm thinking two, is better than one
Yeah, yeah
I remember what you wore on our first day You came into my life And i thought hey
Maybe it's true, that i can't live without you Maybe two is better than one But there's so much time, to figure out the best in my life And you've already got me coming undone And i'm thinking
Oooh i can't live without you 'cause baby two is better than one There's so much time, to figure out the best in my life And i've figured out with all that's said and done Two, is better than one
Today is a great day for all. It is the start of the Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day also falls on the same day so it is a double happiness occassion.
I will like to wish all my friends and visitors to my blog a Happy Lunar New Year and Happy Valentine's Day.
May the start of a New Year marks a new beginning for me in all aspect. In career, In passion, In relationship, In health, In wealth.
Just ended the meeting up with my bunch of uni study buddies aka "war time" buddies and now on my way home as I typed this on my iPhone BlogLite function.
We had arranged for a dinner meet up at 莆田 restaurant which is located inside Vivocity Food Republic. This is counted as an early Reunion Dinner or "収工饭" which was originally suggested by Jason.
There is a lot of catching up to do since the last time we meet is around September or October period last year. And of course, one of our friend Charlotte who is now 33 weeks pregnant is really excited and she picked up quite a few tips from the "already" mother of a daughter, Jamie and tapping on her experience.
Really had a great and fun time. We had quite a few dishes and we did the "捞鱼生" also to celebrate the coming CNY. After which, we went to Coffee Bean for coffee and chit chat. Too bad that most of us need to work tomorrow. If not we will really love to keep chatting.
Thanks for the great turn up guys and gals. Too bad the attendance is not full today and we did not bring the camera tonight. But it was a fun time meeting up. Thanks to Chye Lai, Chee Ming, Ben and Charlotte, Jamie and Alvin, Jason and Serena, myself also :P
Absence with apologies, Robin and Lawrence. Hope that you both can join us next time.
My train just reached Sengkang as I finished typing this. Hope to update again soon. Happy Lunar New Year.
Just to share a very nice song by Lady Antebellum titled "Need You Now". It belongs to Country Music and is really nice.
I don't not have the link to the official MTV yet but these 2 Youtube videos are really nice especially the one where Dave Haywood teaches how to play on the guitar. I always wanted to learn guitar but I am a music idiot unfortunately...
I started at this blog in the starting of 2006 with the original intention of posting photographs and sharing them with my friends. Over the time, this blog has also become a place for me to share my thoughts, emotions with my readers.
Besides that, I will occasionally upload some video clips, MTVs and jokes to share with all. Don't worry about intrusion of my privacy, just feel free to look around.
