Forget where I saw this joke. It is in Thai, but I think you should be able to understand it. Enjoy. Hehe...

USM

This term is something that is commonly used between me and Ian, it is a description that I used to coin myself. No, I am not talking about the Ultra Sonic Motor (USM) technology that is used for Canon lenses (sorry but I am not a Canon SLR supporter too.), neither was it like what Theo had described, Ultimate Super Male or Unique Sexy Man or what so ever.

Well, maybe the following comic strip from Dilbert will help to explain the term USM better.

Well, it is slightly over exaggerated about me (especially the part on the maiden sacrifice, hahaha...), but hey, I think that description suits me well. Hahaha... Ok, I let you be the judge.

Fun with Maths (Yet again)

Wow!!! It has been quite some time since I last wrote anything. Apologies but I am quite busy with my new job and working environment. Besides that, I am also quite busy doing the administrative and moderation duties for my Night Photography forum in Clubsnap so didn't have much time to update my blog.

I have quite a few things that I wanted to write about, but I think I will backlog and update them as soon as I can. But in the meantime, just to share some more of the Maths spoof that I found. Enjoy.

Fun with Maths (or Making Fun of Maths)

Remembered those funny mathematics equations that was posted in my first few blog thread? I kept looking for similar funny mathematics spoofs but can't find any until my ex-colleague Kai Huai emailed to me a few more. I believe that they belong to a series. But anyway, here they are. Enjoy.

Study = Fail? Another Lighter side of Maths

I must admit I never thought of updating my blog regularly as I don't have time to do my photo shoot yet. I do have some pictures in my harddisk but they are just not consistent enough for me to explain the concept of aperture and shutter speed because I never bring my tripod out for shooting during those time.

Alright, with that aside, my colleague Jonathan send me another funny mathematics joke as shown in the picture

This is another witty maths solution that really amuse me. I was really laugh so hard on my chair in my office when I saw it. Just can't stop laughing. I don't know what to say but it seems that these people are really smart in finding fun and humor in Maths.

Anyway, do enjoy my second official posting of my blog. Thanks for viewing.

Find x? A Lighter Note of the day.

Ok, this is my first official post since I started blogging yesterday. Yesterday was very busy as I (complete nut to blogging) was trying out the different function such as creating a post, publishing, editing profile, this and that.

Anyway, I was sorting out all my pictures in my Documents and Settings folder as I wanted to upload some pictures for my profile when I stumble across this picture and I simply laughed about it.

Apparently, this is a mathematics question to find the length of the Hypotenuse, x using Pythagoras theorem which is :
4 square + 3 square = x square
However, the student simply help the teacher to locate the x on the triangle. Hahaha. If we ever use that in our uni or poly papers, I guess the lecturers will laugh until they fall off their chair.

Ok, so much for my first post. Hope to post some photos and to discuss about Photography Techniques next time.
