Especially for HuiRong (My Friend, My Model)

Most of the time, I try not to post any model shots online as I don't wish people to leech the photo and do additional undesirable photoshop. Secondly, portraiture is really not my cup of tea and so most of the time, I prefer to give the ownership of the pictures back to the model themselves. But once a while, I will share some of my humble work here on my blog with my friends. I don't wish to post it in the forum where we get like thousands of visitors a day.

Anyway, here are some of the shots taken in the studio shoot on National Day of HuiRong. I got to watermark these pictures as recently she got people leeching on her photos posted on her blog. I will give the unmarked version to her when I am done post-processing.

The theme for this studio shoot is gothic, the mood is in some sense dark and moody. The dress and outfit is my main focus and how the model bring out the mood of the theme, so you will see less close up of the face but mostly 1/2 body shot. I wanted to shoot the whole body but the studio space is slightly small and I do not want to switch to wider angle because of distortion.

Ok, enough of the technical stuffs. I just like to present the following few shots to HuiRong whom I had met during my Studio Lighting Course at PSS one year back. I have see the change in her over the period of time. A dedicated model, a good friend of mine. Cheerz.
