IR Outing #6½ @ Singapore River and Fort Canning (19th August 2007)

Today's outing is a bit more of an ad-hoc outing as I started the thread in Clubsnap on Thursday to see if anyone else can join. I started this outing because our fellow photographer from Greece who wished to join us last weekend for an IR shoot at Japanese Garden was not feeling well, so he couldn't make it for the outing. I thought that it will be great to meet up a fellow photographer from overseas and to show him around and also to discuss about IR photography and so on.

I wasn't expecting the turn-up to be great today as the proposed location is Singapore River and most of the people felt bored about the location. I didn't want to move too far out of the city too. Firstly, I have no means to contact this photographer (Dakis) and secondly, I don't know if he gotten other plans after the shoot and lastly, this location was proposed by him, so might as well follow according to his proposal.

Here is the list of (3) people who turn up for today's mini-outing
1. Francis247 - (ok, I know, its me)
2. Dakis - (Our new friend from Greece. A big built guy who is using the Nikon D70 un-modified. Quite a nice and friendly guy.)
3. psccy - Cameron (Great that Cameron can join me today. He bought along his Sony Alpha A100 to test out how good it is for IR photography. He also bought along his Sony digicam just in case. Good that he is around to keep us company so that the shooting session today won't be so bored.)

Ok, here are some of my humble shots taken today at a location which I had been shooting around for quite a while. Time to brainstorm how to make my shots more interesting so that can give viewers a new and fresh perspective for a very familiar place. Enjoy.
