Inspiration In Need... Enter This Way.

It seems that my flu is not getting any better with each passing day as my inflammation seems to get from bad to worse because...well, I won't want to go into details on that so as not to disgust you.

Anyway, my mum drops by my house in the morning to check the condition of the house and she happened to see the 6 pack of Tiger and she started to tick me about drinking. I guess she is worry that I become an alcoholic or alcohol abuse but I do appreciate her lecturing as a form of warning/advice so that I will not turn astray. Anyway, Ian did chat with me on MSN a few days back and warn me about drinking every night. I guess it is better for me to heed their advices, but however, I will still drink once a while as a leisure drinker (maybe once a fortnight or once a week), so no worries.

After my mum left, I took a short nap before meeting Thomas and Amelia to discuss about their ROM itineraries as Thomas (the other Thomas, Thomas Tan that is) and I will be the photographers covering their big day. The thought of shooting a big day event really give me butterflies in my stomach as I am worry that I am unable to capture the moment. I must admit that I can do posed shoots with models or etc but capturing that precise and precious moment really takes the eyes, skills and experiences. Recently, I did a birthday coverage for my dear nephew Derwent and made him an album. Overall, my sister was satisfied with the quality print and result, however I feel that I need more practise on that. Anyway, just to share a shot taken that day which I like most but maybe a slight wider framing will be better.

In the midst of disucssion, Thomas (Thomas Tan) proposed that we start to setup our own photography website, I am glad that he bring this up as this idea had been brewing for quite some time if you remember. Anyway, we will work more on that at a later stage. Who knows, this can become my part-time income which is driven by my passion.

After working out the itineraries, schedules and locations to shoot, I went to 2 of the sites for a site survey to get some inspiration. I find myself lacking of inspirations these days, it is like a dry spell, and I have no mood and creativity as I observed myself when doing Photoshop for the photos that I still owe sykestang (Really apologies for the delay). Anyway, I didn’t bring my cam with me today but I roughly have a slight idea on how to deliver a couple shots only which I don’t think it is enough. Argh…

Well, maybe I shouldn’t give myself too much stress. Be kind to myself, maybe it will come to me I hope.

Before calling it the end of my day, I stop by my favourite Coffee Bean joint but alas my cosy corner is occupied, but nevertheless I took a sofa seat instead. As I am sitting here enjoying my brew and aroma of my favourite cup Earl Grey Tea and taking a bite on the Opera Cake while trying to immerse myself in this relaxing atmosphere, the slow music and the calming effect of the tea (or maybe that I am not feeling too well) is putting me to sleep as I am writing this log (yes, I am writing this blog entry using a small notebook that I carried around and convert it into text in my computer when I am back home).

Anyway, now is almost 8:15pm, maybe time to head home and have a good rest and hopefully can recover from my flu soon. Cheerz.
