Backdate for 12th Jan to 15th Jan

Guess Kelvin's bug must have gotten hold all of us. Adrian hasn't updated his blog for quite a while, so is Ian. Theo is also slowing down, so am I. Geez... Is it because of the cold weather or is it that Kelvin is spreading his "no-blog-update" bug to all of us.

Anyway, no time to waste. Time to get cracking and start updating. Just a backdate of what I have been doing for the last few days. Maybe let me start with Saturday (12th Jan).

12th Jan 2008

In my previous post, I only mentioned that I met Joey in the morning for a shot before rushing down to TK Foto and Suntec later that afternoon. I sort of stop down there but today is an activity-filled day. Well, I rush down to TK and met up with quite a few people, I was there to look for Dennis as I wanted to return him the money for his 20" LCD TV which I collected on New Year Day eve.

After returning the money to Dennis, I rush down to Suntec where SICEX is held because our project was featured there. I was down there with Kwang Yong until 5pm before moving off to back to TK Foto as I got a dinner appointment at Robertson Quay at 7pm.

At around 6:15pm, Richard send Maureen, TMC and I to Robertson Quay area for our dinner appointment with Nikon Singapore. This dinner was held by Nikon Singapore in appreciation of our contribution for those outings that we helped Nikon to organise. It was a very fun session as we had buffet and drinking session. Kirby, Jeremy and I played darts and loser has to drink a sip of beer. I guess we each drank a fair share as I lost count of the number of glasses of beer that I finished. After 10pm, the session ended and Alex send me home as he is driving and he live around Punggol area.

13th Jan 2008

I received the news that Ian's grandfather had passed away. Vincent and I went down to the wake which is around Ian's place. We were down around evening time and we left at around 8pm or so.

14th Jan 2008

Nothing much today. Just went to work in the morning and met Steve Tee in the evening to discuss about some Financial planning for my future.

15th Jan 2008

Another activity filled day. Met Ben in the morning for breakfast as he need to study for his flight plannning tomorrow. As I enter my laboratory and checked my email, I was surprise by one of the incoming mail. It is from Prof Chui. She wrote to all the MAEAA committee members that she will be leaving NTU on the 14th of Feb. This news came as a surprise to me and so all the committee members wanted to buy a farewell gift for her.

Since I am collecting my project suit from Beach Road in the afternoon, I volunteered for this task of buying the gift for Prof Chui. I got her a nice pen and engrave her name on it. On top of that, I got her a Thank You card also.

After getting the presents and collecting my project, I got nothing much at hand, so I went down to TK Foto as I was eyeing the Urban Disguis 60 bag for quite some time. I was still contemplating whether to get it or not. Finally, in the end... I didn't buy it.

Next, I went to Sim Lim to check if the stock for Intuos3 Art Pen is in already. Luckily for me, there is still one left and I bought it together with the Norton Internet Security 2008 software.

My last task on hand was to collect the Nikon 77mm NC filter from Jordan at Tang's Studio as I am short of one filter for my 17-35mm lens. Really a busy day as I had been doing the installation for the Norton Internet Security and testing out the new Intuos3 Art Pen.
