I must admit that I should have log this blog last Friday (7th July 2006) so that I can relate to all my friends about my feeling one week after my last day of work in Motorola on the 30th June 2006 (which is the Friday before the last or 2 Fridays ago, oh what the heck, whatever it is, it is on the 30th June 2006, check my previous blog dated 30th June 2006). But I was not in my pink of health for the whole of last week and still not really back in shape for this week too. :(
Ok, enough of that, just to share out my thoughts one week aftermath after my resignation. Not sure how to put this across but there is a feeling of emptiness. I still wake up at 6:30am every morning, but then I remembered that I need not to go to work. I got nothing better to do than to surf web and sleep. Wanted to go out for some photography session but I was down with a very bad cough and the medication is making me very easily drowsy. So literally, I am becoming a potato typing in front of my laptop. :) Haha. As I don’t get to eat breakfast with my old kaki anymore, I skip my breakfast so as to hopefully can shred a few millimetres off my waist. *Lame*
Well, besides surfing the net, that is not all that I do. You want to know the worst part? My family didn’t know that I quitted my job, I can’t bear to tell them as I don’t want them to get worried. The good thing is that I don’t stay with my parents. (I am living alone with my cousin in Sengkang, but my parents will drop by once a while to check on the status of this house, a long story as to why am I living alone. Anyway, luckily my cousin is off to NZ and I got the whole house to myself.). But the fact that they drop by to do spot check is really scary as they will question me why I didn’t go to work that day. So, I have to pack a book and my MP3 player and leave my house around 7:30am every morning and hang around outside until after 6pm then I return home. This is how I spent the whole of last week after I resigned.
Just a side note, come to think of it, I do miss my colleagues in Motorola and also my job (minus the bad experience). Anyway, the past is the past. I got to embrace what is ahead of me and press on forward. Hopefully my new chapter is about to open. The main thing now is to get myself ready and back on my feet.
So, in short, the whole of last week is mainly recuperating and to nurse back my health, leaving my house early and pretending to work and come back after sunset, sounded really boring right? Hopefully this week will be more eventful and better. Hope to take more interesting pictures and explore newer places to share with all. Do watch for it. Cheerz.
(PS : I decide to tell my parents that I quitted my job after I embark on my new one so that they don’t have to worry about me been unemplyed. Hope to start on my new venture soon. Cheerz)

Hey bro,
Perhaps now would be a good time to spend more time in the library, reading? I've spent quite a bit of time in the library (though, admittedly, it's to borrow and read comics) and it's a really leisurely experience. Nothing quite like sitting down and reading a good book.
Hi Bro,
Yap, agree with you.
BTW, when you come back, I will bring you around the new National Library. It is really big and interesting. Was there the whole day on the 17th July. Really good place to spend my day there, but the bad thing is that no bags allowed inside.
