Eleventh IR Outing @ Kusu Island and Exotic Location in Sentosa

Today is the 11th IR Outing organised by yours truly. :P

Not sure why at first as Teerex, our IR "Boss" asked me to start a thread in Clubsnap IR Subforum to see who is joining us for this outing.

I did quite a bit of recce by myself to see how to get to Kusu Island beforehand. The details of my recce trip can be found in this thread here in CS. Basically, I ran to Habourfront to asked how to get to Kusu Island and also tried the new Marina South Ferry Terminal to ask about chartering a boat to Kusu Island. In the end, we settled for by taking a bus over to Sentosa and take the Ferry to Kusu Island.

Anyway, the weather is fine (thankfully, first time organising with little screw up :p) that day but I didn't get much of a good shot as I am still down with a bad cough that doesn't seems to go away. Hope to recover soon. Anyway, here are the list of people who joined us for the outing today.

1. Teerex - Teerex aka Lee, our IR moderator, the Boss
2. Dennis - Dennis (Dennis didn't really take IR today as he send his D70s to deadpixel to mod to IR. He was shooting with his D200 today and the worse thing is that he dropped his bag with the camera inside. Gosh, the control panel LCD cracked, but the cam was still able to function. Hope that he can get it fixed up.)
3. thl - Tan (Luckily, Tan was on time today as we need to rush to catch the bus to go over to Senotsa to take the ferry.)
4. u2nofear - u2nofear (Good to see that he is becoming a regular in our IR subgroup)
5. hweechwee - Poh (Didn't really catch up with Poh to see how is things back in office, sigh..., I guess I still missed my old job, oh well...)
6. photoexpress - Bobby (Good to see him as he missed the last outing, thanks for giving me the info on how to get to Kusu Island and also be my time keeper for today.)
7. incastasman - Andrew (Our all funny man Andrew. Glad that he is back from his Bintan project and was able to join us for this outing. He didn't take IR today as he bring out his D200 instead of his D70. He had been to Kusu Island once already and taken some IR before. He joined mainly to take snapshots of everyone :P)
8. eawtan - Edmund (Edmund had been missing a few outings already as he was in US during those times, glad that he can join us)
9. Tim - Timothy aka Tim (First time joining us, he is using the Sony F717 and shoot in Night Mode, the interesting thing is that he need a ND filter to cut off the brightness due to the night mode)
10. RtOaNn - Ronnie (Second outing with us, joined last minute but glad that he can join us)
11. Francis247 - Me, yours truly (I didn't realised that I didn't put my name down until the last minute :P)

As Kusu Island is not very big, everyone sort of tired out after an hour of shooting or so as all the things can be covered easily within one hour, so I proposed to go to an exotic place in Sentosa that is near the unused Asia Civilization Village.

We took the Ferry back to Sentosa and have lunch at Burger King and proceed to the next location to shoot. As there are lots of mosquitoes at that place, we didn't really stay long. Anyway, we cut the outing at around 2pm and head for home around 3pm today. Overall, I consider this outing to be a success and Teerex wanted me to organise another outing in his absence as he and Ark and a few others are going over to Bali for an overseas IR Outing. No wonder he wants me to organise this outing :P. I will see what I can do for the next outing then. Alright, enough of that, here are the shoots taken that day during the outing, it may not be the best, hope to improve myself. Anyway, Enjoy and Cheerz.
