Sometime, I am quite glad that I am not working right now as I have the free time to do what I wanted like attending workshops and talks that is related to my passion but without the need to take leave.
Today, I attended the Adobe PhotoShop World Asia 2006 talk at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. I signed this up quite some time back already. As expected, there are quite a lot of photographers who attended this talk as Adobe Photoshop is known as the Digital Darkroom. (For those who don't know what a Darkroom is, it is basically a room used for developing film negative for those film camera users and also to do those post-processing on the film. The room must be dark so as not to expose and damage the film negative. That was in the past, now in digital format, Photoshop is something like a Darkroom for digital photographers to do the post-processing in.) In fact, more than 3/4 of the ballroom are photographers as the organisers asked who in the room uses Adobe Photoshop are designers and who are the photographers and you can see the amount of hands who are photographers are significantly more than those designers. Anyway, I did managed to see a few familar faces and I managed to join a group whom I know from the Nikon User Group (NUG). Good thing is that I socialize often :P.
The talk is really interesting and I got to learn a lot more about the many functions of Photoshop CS 2. Besides that, the speakers recommended us some websites such as the
Postcard Viewer and Russell Brown Photoshop Tips and Tricks which are very useful. I am really amaze by the speakers as they literally know all the shortcut keys at the back of their hands. That is what I call really passionate about Photoshop.
Anyway, that is how I spend the whole of today. At least it is something meaningful. Cheerz.

Hey bro,
I guess the upside of not actually working at the moment is that you're able to blog more frequently. hehe...which means I get to find out more about your life!
Perhaps tells us what else you do regularly, apart from the photo stuff?
Hey Bro,
You really got me there. Beside Photography, I have been ... doing photography. Hahaha...
Guess it is my passion now. You know, I always like to explore around like those times when we rented a car. I now like to explore places and taking photos of it. In some sense, I am recording what I see when I visit a place.
Anyway, I have been reading up and meeting my NTU prof to get more info about my project too and most of all, surfing the net. Anyway, will be posting more pictures for all to see.
