Second IR Outing

Today, I attended the 2nd IR Outing held by the IR Sub-forum in Clubsnap. This is the list of people who sign up (their nicks in Clubsnap and also their name) for the IR Outing.

1. Vortex + 1 - Andy + lady friend (who is the guide for this outing, she was late, but she did recommend a good place to shoot, didn't get her name though)
2. Photoexpress - Bobby
3. Teerex - Teerx (he mentioned that his surname is Lee)
4. PandaOng - Jonathan
5. yyD70S - didn't turn up
6. Francis247 + 1 - me and Poh (She is very sporting enough to accept my invitation for this IR Outing, really thanks for the ride)
7. Nisa - didn't turn up too
8. karfee - Karfee aka Jia Fei (He is a Malaysian but his parents migrated to Holland when he is 8, now he is doing Masters in NUS, he can speak quite a few languages)
9. thl - Tan (didn't get his full name, saw him once when collecting the Monpod from Skyes)
10. beivied - Ivy (A moderator in Clubsnap, Underwater Photography)
11. Tulip123 - Stanley
12. Arowana - Arowana
13, 14. DodoAngel + friend (didn't get their names)
15. siaoon - Siaoon (didn't get the name too)
16. airforce1 - Abdul
17. eawtan - Edmund (Thanks for lending Poh the 72mm Hoya R72 IR Filter with the 67mm -> 72mm Step-up ring, sorry that Poh accidently drop it)

Anyway, it has been an interesting outing even though the sun wasn't shining as bright and covered by the gloomy sky and dark clouds. I do hope that Poh find the outing interesting and had learnt more about IR Photography.

As for me, I was suffering from a bad sunburn on my back of my neck due to "long exposure" under the hot sun when I was watching the Aerial display at the Asia Aerospace 2006. This Aerospace is the last that will be held in Singapore, in future, it will be held in Hong Kong. Because of the sunburn, I can't sling my camera around my neck during the outing because it is really painful.

Overall, this outing is really nice even thought it started late. I do like this type of outing and all the people are really very friendly and helpful. Nice knowing them and I do look forward to the next outing.
