Photography Equipment

I have decide to review and "do an audit" on myself for the amount that I spend on photography and using this post to keep track of the photography equipment that I have.

Nikon DSLR D70s Kit (body + AF-S DX 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G) + Hoya UV Filter - $1550
Nikkor AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6G & B+W 62mm UV Filter - $200
Nikkor AF 50mm f/1.8D - $160
Nikkor AF Micro 105mm f/2.8D - $920
Nikkor AF DX Fisheye 10.5mm f/2.8G ED - $1100
Nikon Speedlight SB800 - $632
Manfrotto 190B Tripod + strap - $175
Manfrotto 141RC Tripodhead - $75
Manfrotto 714B Tripod - $65
Giottos Camera Quick Release MH652 - $35
Giottos Ball Head MH 1002-310 - $70
Digi-Cabi Dry Cabinet - $188
1 Extra Lexar 80x 1GB CF Card - $110
1 Extra Nikon EN-EL3e Battery - $85
Lowepro Stealth Reporter 200AW - $100
Lowepro Rover AW II - $140
etc...

There are still some other cost not included such as Filters, Eye-cup, books and courses. Despite the amount of money spent on the equipment, I look back and think, sometime, something in life cannot be measured by monetary means only exist at that moment which I wish to capture using my camera to keep as a memory. When a moment pass, no amount of money can be used to brought back the second that had just passed.

Anyway, enough of that, this post will be used as an equipment checklist for me. BTW, my friend Thomas Tan thought of taking up photography as a sideline, he proposed to rent some equipment from me if he need, I think this will be a good way that these equipment can help to generate some passive income. Cheerz.
