Down on earth and back to reality

Life is full of ups and downs just like a roller coaster ride. A moment ago, I am still enjoying the hang-over of a good Sunday just like on top of the world and a moment later, I am zap down to earth and back to reality.

When things are going your way smoothly, a bump will appear unexpectedly out of nowhere which will cause you to trip and fall to face the world as it is, cold and bitter.

Just a brief of what is happening; I have been in high spirit since Sunday as it is such a memorable and interesting day. Things are really going my way as my long-anticipated Flashlight Photography will be starting on the 17th Feb (Friday) and there will be another IR outing happening on the 26th Feb which I signed up without much thought and I finally got the V3 RAZR Pink for Tammy (Theo's gf, Theo is Ian's friend which is also my friend and Ian is not only my friend, he is also my brother, the relationship is very complicated so I will not bother to elaborate more) which really take off one more item from my mind that is keeping track of "Things to Do".

Anyway, when things appeared to be going on smoothly like the flow, the tide of change came without a warning which left me feeling really lost and sad. Just in a single day within less than 3 hours apart, I receive news of 2 of my colleagues (one of them is a manager and the other is an engineer) had tendered their resignations and one of them was asked to leave immediately today and the latter still got a couple of weeks more. I will not mention names here for privacy reason, but I have work with both of them before and they are someone who you can really work with because they are responsible and really do their stuff well. This really set me thinking about their job performance, in fact, they had really put in their heart and hard work for their role they play, now, it is all vanish and gone. Come to think about it, I shouldn't feel sad for them but instead I should feel happy as they had chosen the next step to take that is more suitable for them. All I can do now is to wish them all the best for their future endeavours and keep in touch. All the best to them. The industry is small, hope that we will meet again. Cheerz.
