Back to Industry, Tough Time Ahead

Finally get my lazy hands and bum off and start blogging again. Really sorry for the lack of update. I am not in the mood to update my blog these few days. Well, as you all know, I have started with my new company. It has been like 1 year and 9 months away from the industry and I am really getting comfortable with the lifestyle in academic field. Now that I am back in the industry, time to face those challenges ahead.

So far my new job has been ok for me except those sessions when I ticked by my manager. Well, I have been trying hard to learn and pick up the skills as I go along. There are a lot of differences between my ex-company which is handling mass production and this company which is doing engineering and construction for oil/gas industry. I am learning to realign my thoughts to this industry. To date, I have been to my suppliers' plant to do some inspection and also been to shipyard, warehouse and onboard our company's ship to look around. Really interesting exposure. The only thing that I kind of drag about is the constant lecturing from my manager. Oh well...
