First Day of School

Feeling rather excited as I am heading back for studies again, but as a Part Time Master student this time that is. My class starts at 6:45pm until 9:45pm and it is one of my favourite subject, Quality Engineering, taught by Dr Lim Choon Seng who happened to teach me Quality Assurance during my Bachelor Degree days.

It was more of a recap session for me as I have studied Quality concept since my Poly days, till to date, I am still passionate about Quality, guess it is in my blood.

Anyway, during the first lecture, the lecturer gave out the notes to be taken to the photocopy shop for mass printing, but one student who is very impatient went down to take the note and pass it to his friend but later only to realise that it was 2 different sets. So he said that he will bring down to photocopy later. During the break, he took the notes and he went to the photocopy shop at Library 1 and order 5 sets which is for him and his friends. I knew such a thing would be happening, so I actually followed him down to the photocopy shop. I told the photocopy staff to get hold of the original and place an order of 30 pieces so that others can pick it up too. If not enough, they can place order for more since the shop got the original. It was such a simple task yet these people didn't think of it. All they can think of is for themselves which pisses me off as I hate selfish people. For a record, I was class representative for 3 years in my Poly and have been runner for lecturers for such tasks whenever I can as I don't mind doing such service for others.

But the photocopy shop was very busy as the school had just reopen today and they are busy printing the notes for the undergraduates. I understand their difficulties and so I didn't push them as I am not that hard up for notes but those people (who send the notes down for printing) don't seems to be able to understand the whole situation and keep pressing the shop owner to print for them. I am really disgusted by their actions and so, I just left the shop, totally pissed that is. Such simple English and situation, yet all these people don't seems to understand. Geez... You can tell that I am really fed up with them.

Alrighty, enough of my ranting. Time to cool off and have a rest. Tomorrow is another day. Cheerz.
