I went to Pan Pacific after my work to attend a talk by Mr Hui Man Yan, one of my PSS instructors who is teaching Travel Photography. It is a very interesting sharing session whereby he shared out his experience as a photographer on how to get that unique angle to have good and interesting photos.
There is no hard and fast rule as to which angle is good, but more like by observing for opportunity and composing it in such a way that the photo can tell the viewer a story or feeling, that is the utmost important.
During his talk, he share out his techniques and thoughts which are very inspiring and motivating.
Just to share out some of his quotes :
"You must kill within that first and one shot to make it unique, if not, people see you taking at that angle will try to follow and if they can capture it better than you, then you lose out even though you are the one who find and compose that unique angle."
"Do what you can do, don't do what others do"
Anyway, hope that if time permits, I will really like to take up Travel Photography class in PSS conducted by him to learn more. Cheerz.
