Passing of my Relative

Was think very long for a title, but I guess my mind is just blank now. I don't like to share bad or sad news on my blog but I just needed my space to let it out...

24 years ago, in the year of the Ox, my grandma passed away on the last day of the Lunar New Year which is the 15th day of the Lunar New Year. She was hanging on strongly and bravely despite that she had a stroke before.

24 years later, in the year of the Ox again, on the 7th day of the Lunar New Year, I went to visit my aunt (my father's sister-in-law) who is lying on the hospital bed. She is suffering from cervical cancer. She is a good lady who really knows how to teach and bring 2 of her kids up together with her husband. She is strict with her children upbringing because she cares a lot about them.

Now, she is just lying on the bed, suffering in pain. She was asleep when my foster mum, cousins, sister and myself arrived. She woke up and my aunt's sister asked her if she recognise me and my sister. She called out, "Ah Hong and Ah Di" and smiled, at that moment just bring tears to my eyes. I fought so hard to hide it.

Life is so fragile... Today, she had just passed away. Hope that she will rest in peace.
