After 2 long weeks of waiting and anticipating, the long awaited answer to the question in my last post came to me without any warning. It really caught me unprepared as I thought of helping out with my previous team with some of the work maybe until mid of next month or till my University side give me the confirmation for the project that I am going to undertake.
Guess there is no turning or looking back now. Friday is the day, Friday is the day. It will come, it will come.
Sigh... So many unfinished business and work that is on my mind and my last wish to make my final contribution to my ex-team was kind of turn down really sadden me. I hate to say farewell, but I guess this is what I must accept as this is the path that I choose and I must bare the consequences and responsibilities.

That is such a shame that you had to leave so suddenly. Didn't your Mechanical Lead want to talk to you about your resignation? He wasn't able to convince you to stay on?
Anyway bro, what are your plans? Are you going back to uni to do your Masters, or are you planning to look for another job immediately? Do update please.
Hey Bro,
Thanks for your comments. I actually gotten a job as a Project Officer working on a research project in NTU. My professor suggest that I do my MEng (Master of Engineering) that will be related to my project at the same time.
I haven't sign the contract yet, I heard that maybe it will be some time this month. Anyway, I wanted to have a good break and do some photography and reading up to prepare me for the long road ahead.
Will update you soon. Thanks.
As for my Engineering Manager who wanted me to stay, I seriously thought about it and wanted to stay. But I guess some time, it is better to lose sight of shore and explore newer ground for a fresh start.
That's really good! It ties in nicely that you can actually work AND it helps you with your Masters as well. Hope everything works out well...do keep in touch with updates on what's happening for you.
Hey Bro,
Thanks. Haven't heard from you for quite a while. Hope to see you on MSN soon.
Bro, a bit of a problem with regards to MSN. My home computer has been down for the last month or so and as a result, I've cancelled my internet connection.
I can only access the net when I'm in uni nowadays...which means that I don't really get to hop onto MSN anymore. Sorry!
Haha...communicate with me in my blog or yours! =)
Hey Bro,
So sorry to hear that. Hope that you can get your computer fixed up. No wonder I see that your blog is not updated regularly.
Anyway, you know what? I think I really need to learn quite a few tricks on blog from you so that we can communicate easily.
Will seek your advice and expertises. Haha.
